It is a specialized expertise house established by a member or a group of faculty members at the university, with similar or complementary specializations, and provides services or research, advisory or scientific
studies on commercial bases.
Our capabilities in the unit:
The management of expert houses is considered one of the most important services provided by universities through the institutes of studies and advisory services. The idea of establishing expert houses stemmed
from the trends towards strengthening the principle of strategic partnership between them and all groups of society with the aim of employing the different knowledge and potentials of the society. And the achievement of sustainable development in a way that contributes to the development of these universities' own revenues.
Services in the unit:
* Providing an opportunity for faculty members at the university to benefit from their knowledge and experiences in addressing community issues.
* Providing distinguished advisory, research and training services for all segments of society in all scientific and research specialties.
Unit tasks:
* Marketing of houses of expertise for the private sector and the public sector.
* Financial supervision over the contracts of expert houses, closing the final accounts for each contract, and closing the accounts of the expertise houses unit.
* Supervising the final outputs of the houses of expertise, and measuring the satisfaction of the consultant services student from the expert houses.
* Establishing a database on the houses of expertise established in the university, and updating their data periodically.
* Participating in building and developing the national laboratory services sector to serve the local economy
