The Department of Allied Medical Sciences was established in the Community College of Tabuk in 1418 AH, since the establishment of the college, which graduates students with an associate’s degree after the end of the five-semester study period. The Department of Allied Medical Sciences graduates students with the specialization of medical records, as the medical records specialization is one of the new specialties that take great importance in the medical sector, and the importance of medical records specialization stems from the preservation and care of medical information that is the basis for medical care, and takes great importance in Field of medical education. The Department of Medical Sciences keeps pace with the development in the medical sector in general, and the development in the specialty of medical records in particular, through the development of study plans in the program, as work began on the new study plans at the beginning of the academic year 1429/1430 AH. The award of the participant’s degree in the medical records qualifies the student from progressing to the job market strongly through multiple options, which include: hospitals, primary care centers, specialized clinics, medical research centers such as local and international health organizations.
