The Vice Rector for Development and Quality, Dr. Rashid bin Maslat Al-Sharif, inaugurated today the prototype development camp, launched by the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha'at" under the patronage of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Mufreh Al-Dhiyabi, and in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Unit at the University, which will last for ten days With the participation of 50 male and female entrepreneurs in the region, at the headquarters of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education at the university. Dr. Al-Sharif stated that the camp targets male and female students, alumni, university employees and residents of Tabuk region who have ideas and who wish to start businesses. Al-Sharif said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency: This cooperation between the university and Monsha'at comes from a common vision in community service and to strengthening the university's development role in order to create an environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, and to embrace creative projects and turn them into economic products. The program comes in line with the Kingdom's vision, which aims to motivate and encourage entrepreneurs in the Kingdom and to qualify and prepare owners of entrepreneurial ideas and projects to reach a stage that allows them to benefit from entrepreneurship support programs and centers in Saudi universities. For his part, the supervisor of the Entrepreneurship Unit at the University, Dr. Majid Al-Otaibi, confirmed that the program contains workshops and specific programs for the participants, and the last day, Demo Day, will be an opportunity for the participants to present their projects, in the presence of representatives of investment agencies and investment funds to arbitrate their participation from the arbitrators and build various relationships with several parties.
