Introduction
- Higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia need to develop the system of measurement and evaluation in them, whether at the level of evaluating students ’performance, evaluating academic curricula and academic programs, or evaluating university performance in general.
It is noticeable that there are great opportunities to develop academic curricula and programs at Tabuk University, with its various departments and colleges, and this requires the need for comprehensive development of faculty members, especially teaching and evaluation skills.
The university seeks to achieve the slogan "distinguished faculty member for distinguished graduate".
Vision and mission
Vision:
The unit seeks to be a model in its inputs and procedures to achieve qualitative and distinguished performance in its outputs within the framework of the tasks and roles that fall under the dilemma of academic measurement and evaluation of students and decisions in study plans and related university programs, in line with the university's vision based on excellence.

Activating the roles of measurement and evaluation based on clarity in the vision and developing practices based on procedural definitions of these roles, in accordance with a set of values that govern the measurement and evaluation process in general and the university academic in particular, to achieve the requirements for improvement and development and to make decisions based on reliable quantitative and qualitative data.
Objectives
1. Spreading the culture of proper scientific measurement and evaluation in the university.
2. Building and developing various measuring and evaluation tools to verify the quality of the educational environment with all its components
3. Providing support to the various units and branches of the university with regard to measurement and evaluation operations
4. Employing modern technology in measurement and evaluation processes.
5. Benefiting from local and international experiences and expertise and employing them in a way that serves measurement and evaluation processes
6. Diagnosing the educational process and discovering what it suffers from immediate problems and future obstacles that may encounter it.
7. Determine the performance levels of all the educational process components.
