Institute of Language meets with Cambridge University Press

​On Sunday, May 14, 2023, the Institute of Language at Tabuk University held a meeting with the representatives from Cambridge University Press in the region. During the meeting, ways of joint cooperation between Tabuk University, represented by the Language Institute, and Cambridge International in the fields of English language teaching methodologies and technologies for non-native speakers were discussed. Mr. Zaid bin Hamed presented the latest educational services and technologies in the field of English language teaching as a foreign language He also discussed the possibility of applying them in the university. Mr. bin Hamed also demonstrated the latest academic services that can be an addition to promising academic programs, which the institute applies within its academic plans, and the possibility of expanding the use of electronic educational resources such as virtual classes over the Internet, computer applications, and mobile phones in teaching English language skills for non-native speakers. This meeting falls within the institute's continuous efforts to develop the English language teaching process at Tabuk University, improve its academic outputs, and keep up with the latest academic developments in the field of English language teaching technologies for non-native speakers. It is worth noting that the Language Institute has launched a package of distinctive educational services in various English language teaching technologies after a comprehensive study of the latest educational developments in this field and in line with the educational needs in the region. Participants in the meeting confirmed Tabuk University's keenness - represented by the institute - to enhance the educational process by providing the latest curricula and educational materials in the field of English language teaching for our students, providing a distinguished academic environment, and an academic experience that balances the students' educational needs and the latest technological developments in the educational process.
