Dr Sawsan Zaitone received her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2000 and her PhD in Medicines and Toxicology in 2007 • The doctor was promoted to the rank of associate professor in 2013 and then to the rank of professor in 2019 • The scientific production presented by Dr Sawsan Zaitone is represented in the number of 80 scientific papers published internationally in journals classified in Scopus and WOS databases • 32 research papers, including masters and doctoral theses, registered in different universities • These researches were carried out with the participation of 152 research associates from different scientific departments in the Egyptian faculties of pharmacy, such as the Department of Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and pharmacies, as well as with the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, science, veterinary medicine and dentistry These researches were carried out with the participation of 152 research associates from different scientific departments in the Egyptian faculties of pharmacy, such as the Department of Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and pharmacies, as well as with the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, science, veterinary medicine and dentistry • Participation was made with government universities such as Cairo, Ain Shams, Al-Azhar, Tanta University, Mansoura, Assiut and Zagazig in Egypt • Participation was made with private universities such as Sinai University, Future University and the Russian University in Egypt • Participation was made with prestigious Arab universities such as King Abdulaziz University and King Saud University, as well as the University of Tabuk and the University of Knowledge in Saudi Arabia • Research cooperation is underway with more Egyptian Arab universities • Dr Sawsan Zaitone supervised 24 masters theses and 4 doctoral theses in the field of pharmacology and toxicology at Suez Canal University • The doctor supervised a number of masters and doctoral theses at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Al-Azhar University, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University • The doctor participated in the judging and discussion committees for 9 masters theses and 2 doctoral theses • Dr Sawsan participated as an arbitrator for research and awards in the conference of young researchers at Suez Canal University • Dr Sawsan is an international reviewer in the number of 81 international journals classified by WOS and Scopus • The doctor has participated in a number of local and international conferences, as well as with societal bodies • The doctor won the award for the best research presented at the Suez Canal Authority Conference on Cardiology in 2015 and 2016 • The doctor has been working at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tabuk University since February 25, 2016 to date She participates in academic teaching, student field training, supervises graduation projects, and participates in multiple research groups to publish scientific research
