1- Wavelet: • Working with Wavelets for applications in, among others, Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Neural Networks and in Computational Electromagnetics etc • Working on Cosine Modulated Filterbank/ transmultiplexer for applications in Digital Subscriber Loop (DSL) technology • Working with dual-tree complex wavelet transform (DTCWT) for OFDM applications and video coding applications • Working with curvelets for text modeling, segmentation and extraction in outdoor images
2- OFDM (WiMAX, WiFi, DVB-T): • Working on PHY layer issues of Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technologies • Working on channel estimation, SNR estimation, PAPR improvement, synchronization issues, diversity designs, PHY layer security issues, LDPC code development for WiMAX, WiFi, DVB-T, DVB-H, and VANET systems
