Ayman Safi Abdelhakim holds a PhD in Tourism and Hospitality from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK He is currently an Associate Professor at the College of Tourism and Hospitality, University of Tabuk, Al Wajh, Saudi Arabia Prior to joining the University of Tabuk, he was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Fayoum University, Egypt He was also a Visiting Scholar at the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, University of Surrey UK between 2019 and 2020 His research interests are airlines catering, food safety training, employees attitudes and behaviors, customers experience in hospitality and airlines His work has been published in a range of reputable journals including British Food journal, Food Control, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology, Tourism Management Perspectives, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, and the current issues in Tourism
