Dr Ghareb Soliman holds a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology) in 2010 from the University of Montreal - Canada
He is currently acting as Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and Supervisor of the Department of Pharmaceutics
Dr Solimans research focuses on finding the best ways to deliver drugs to the affected areas of the patients body, which could lead to a significant reduction in side effects and an increase in the effectiveness of the drug Among the current research projects is the use of gold nanoparticles to increase the effectiveness of anti-cancer drugs, as well as the use of lipid-based nanoparticles to increase the effectiveness of antifungal drugs
Dr Soliman has so far published more than 40 refereed research papers in international journals and has been cited more than 1,200 times, resulting in his selection in 2020 in the Stanford University list of the best 2% of world scientists
