Dr Alanazi was one day a student in the department of mechanical engineering at university of Tabuk before joining the same department as a teaching assistant in March of 2016 Since then, he has taught several courses between engineering mechanics I and II, fluid mechanics, engineering drawing, workshops and production technology, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and engineering drawing Dr Alanazi then, in 2017, received a scholarship from the university to study abroad (in USA) Starting from 2017, he traveled to the US and began pursuing his higher education starting with the English institute at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2017 to 2018 After that, Dr Alanazi joined the research group of the Erosion/Corrosion Research center (E/CRC) at the university of Tulsa in 2018 where he finished his MSc degree in 2020 and published several papers related to his master work with the group In 2020, however, Dr Alanazi began another journey with the Tulsa University Separation Technology Projects (TUSTP) research group after which had begun his PhD work Dr Alanazi, as part of his PhD work, published several conference and journal papers before he officially was granted the degree of PhD in 2024 and returning to the university of Tabuk as an assistant professor in January of 2025
