King Fahad Military Medical Complex-Dhahran, an International Training Center (ITC) of American Heart Association (AHA) conducted a Training Center Faculty Course last November 30, 2022 held at the hospital auditorium. The course was conducted by Ms. Zahra Hashim, AHA Regional Faculty and attended by 12 training center faculty candidates from different Universities and Hospital in the Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia except for Dr. Jay “Qais" Nantin Ablao who represents the University of Tabuk Life Support Unit headed by Dr. Faisel Abuduhier. The course aims to prepare the candidate to conduct instructor courses and to serve as a quality assurance and educational leadership for the ITC. This will eventually meet the mission of the AHA to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
This is a manifestation that the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, University of Tabuk fully support faculty members who are willing to grow and develop professionally. This course will be reflected through the knowledge of the students that they will get in providing emergency life support to the community in order to prolong lives.
